
Trove is not your usual MMORPG, on the other hand, although it feels very much like World of Warcraft or Runescape did, in the sense that you still have to create a character and use it to grind better gear. Now, someone listened to those pleas and tried to integrate them into an MMO, complete with destructible environment and blocky characters. However, regardless of how popular Mojang’s creation might be, people have always wanted a bit more from it, especially in the multiplayer and role-playing departments.

Minecraft achieved the immortality status by now, and future game developers will have to work pretty hard in order to dethrone it, even if the core formula is quite simple when you really think about it.
